About Us
Founded by John A. Auxier, Ph.D., CHP, a world-renowned expert in nuclear engineering and health physics in 1992, Auxier & Associates, Inc. (Auxier) is a leader in the health, safety and environmental consulting field. With over 200 years of cumulative experience in health physics and related fields, we provide a full spectrum of radiation consulting services to a variety of clients.
Our goal is to reduce our clients’ liability portfolio with ethical integrity, while maintaining the highest degree of quality in the most cost-effective manner. Our capabilities range from wholly managing our client’s project to simply acting as a reliable, consistent and dependable health physics resource. We understand the importance of providing the right answer the first time, remaining economically competitive, and saving the client money by avoiding the possibilities of revisiting the problem or redoing the work.
Health Physics, and radiation safety, can be foreign concepts for much of the population and can provide a unique challenge for clients. We love sharing our knowledge with others, and in fact training is an area in which we excel. We are customer service focused and are able to communicate with regulators, client executives, managers and field staff in a relatable and understandable manner regarding all aspects of radiation and radiological controls.
